1. Use
The permanent magnet drum magnetic separator is suitable for wet separation of fine particles of strong magnetic minerals. The specific magnetization coefficient of the selected mineral is generally not less than 3000×10-6 cm 3/ g. These minerals include magnetite, pyrrhotite or magnetized calcined hematite, limonite, siderite and so on.
Second, the working principle
The pulp is fed into the magnetic separator tank through the feeding box and enters the mining area in a loose state. When passing through the magnetic field area, the ore particles with strong magnetism are adsorbed on the surface of the cylinder under the action of the magnetic field force of the magnetic system. During the rotation of the cylinder, the magnetic particles of the magnetic system are alternately arranged in the circular direction, so that the magnetic ore particles are turned in chains. Part of the gangue ore particles included in the magnetic minerals are removed, and the magnetic ore particles rotate with the cylinder and are taken out of the magnetic field area. Flush the concentrate tank with flush water. Weak magnetic and non-magnetic minerals (gangue) are shaken off and discharged from the tailings tank under the action of the slurry flow in the tank, thus completing the sorting process.

The permanent magnet drum magnetic separator is mainly composed of four parts: transmission device, permanent magnet drum, tank body and frame (see figure). The permanent magnet drum is made of anti-magnetic stainless steel plate, and the surface of the cylinder has a wear-resistant layer. The permanent magnet drum is equipped with a magnetic system. 4. Scope of application
The tank body is divided into three types: countercurrent tank, concurrent flow tank and semi-countercurrent tank. Semi-countercurrent tanks are the most widely used.

2. The parallel flow trough is suitable for roughing and selection of ore size of 6-0mm.
3. The semi-counterflow tank is suitable for roughing and selecting the ore with a particle size of 1-0mm.
5. Instructions for use
1. Before driving, check the power supply, transmission device, lubrication system and equipment around the obstruction, confirm the normal before driving.
2. Before driving, open the equipment and water pipes, and then feed the ore, and then work normally after adjustment.
3. The reducer and bearing should be refueled regularly to ensure normal lubrication.
4. During the transportation and installation of the equipment, special care should be taken not to collide the shell. After installation, 2-4 small time and space operation should be carried out.
5. There should be no rubbing noise during operation. If the cylinder is found to have a rattling sound, it should be stopped immediately for inspection.
6. The magnetic system shall not be exposed to high temperature, nor shall there be large vibration.
